  Primed supports adaptive change - individuals and organisations continuously anticipating, preparing for, and responding to shifting environmental conditions. orange box quote

Time to Reflect?

When change is at its most intense, that is the very time we need to stop, take in our surroundings, re-energise and focus on what is important.

Take some time out now with the help of this music animation originally designed by Primed to ease the load of those tireless social change agents in Mission Australia

'Primed’s “stand out” attribute for me is their approach to ‘Real Play’. The quality of their staff and consultants is second to none and their ability to interpret the relevant issues for a particular organisation in a way that gets the message home via their interactive dialogue differentiates Primed from any other consultancy I have worked with.'

Tony Farmer Deputy Chief,

Adaptive change requires that we understand our environmental conditions, our current and future state, that we are “savvy” regarding emerging conditions and understand the implication of our actions.

We are currently faced with dual dilemmas:

  • disorder and uncertainty in response to complex fluctuations in global markets and interdependencies, &
  • a growing awareness that our earth is a delicately balanced system that is in jeopardy.

In this context, adaptive change requires a focus on:

  • adapting to environments (rather than attempting to control);
  • acclimatizing and accommodating change (rather than change management);
  • dynamic goals and strategies adjusted in response to changes in the environment (rather than static plans).

A critical piece for organisations in adaptive change is performance. Here is Primed’s philosophy on Performance, Re-examining Performance – Why are we persisting with something that doesn’t work?
